The Academy of Dance and Music(South of Broadway)
The Academy has been the leader in dance education for over 20 years. Many of our students have gone on to professional dance careers. Four of our students have opened their own studios or performing company. Including: The Conservatory (Newport News Va.) Dynamic Movements (Suffolk Va.) The Chosen Two (Isle of Wight county Va.) From the Thrown (Hampton Va)
Facilities
Both dance studios are equipped with Spring Loaded Ballet Floating Floors. These professional floors reduce fatigue and prevent injuries. We have 3 music studios complete with computer lab. Students can usually schedule music lessons on the same day as their dance lesson. Great for busy Moms.
Teaching Staff
Our teachers are experienced professional musicians and dancers.
We are able to give personal attention by keeping class sizes small for younger children and beginners.
Customer Service
We have desk staff available during class time, so teachers are not interrupted.
We are available Monday - Friday 9:00 am. - 9:00 pm. And Saturday 9:00am - 4:00 pm.
Hassle free Recitals
No tickets to purchase. No fund raisers for parents. Just a Beautiful Recital. Usually, No longer than 2 and 1/2 hours.
